Before & After: What to expect from a Systematic Kinesiology session
Before your session
You will receive an initial client health and lifestyle questionnaire to complete and return before your initial appointment. This will ensure you get the most out of the session.
Arrive as you are, you don’t need to prepare or “perform.”
If you are taking any supplements, bring them along so I can test them for you.
Many clients come in with:
• Ongoing stress or overwhelm
• Pain, tension, or recurring injuries
• Fatigue, brain fog, or emotional heaviness
• A sense that something feels “off” but hard to explain
There’s no need to relive experiences or push through discomfort — your body leads the process.
During the session
We use muscle testing as biofeedback to identify imbalances in the body and understand how the body is responding to stress — physical, emotional, or biochemical.
Treatment focuses on neurolympahtic massage, working with energy points (through light tough) and testing nutritional supplements to support your body and/or food testing. The latter are done through muscle testing.
The session is gentle, and you are fully clothed. Talking about your emotions during the sessions aids your treatment however is not essential and does not have to be spoken out loud.
You or I yawning and/or tummy gurgling, are all great signs that you are responding well to treatment
After your session
Drink plenty of filtered water and take the opportunity to rest as much as possible.
You may feel tender from the lymphatic massage for a couple of days. This is nothing to worry about.
Read through your personalised after care information, following recommendations to support the benefits of your treatment beyond the treatment session. I am contactable at any stage after your appointment for further support.
Experiences vary, but clients commonly notice:
• A sense of calm or clarity
• Symptoms significantly reduced or gone
• Improved energy and focus
• Feeling more “grounded” or regulated
Some people feel immediate shifts, while others notice changes gradually over the following days/weeks as systems balance.
It’s also normal to feel:
• Tired
• Emotionally lighter
• More aware of your body and emotions
This isn’t the body “crashing” — it’s reorganising and recalibrating.
Longer-term changes
With ongoing sessions, clients often report:
• Improved resilience to stress, illness and injury
- A stronger sense of calm, balance and ease
- Positive shifts in emotional patterns
- Improved mood and sleep patterns
- Recognising when they need a re-balance, more in tune
Systematic kinesiology doesn’t override the body – it supports its natural ability to heal and function.
